日本の伝統的な籐編みを用いて、ネオジャパニーズモダンを模索した籐イスです。籐編みの作り出す陰影と、面として扱っているファブリックの組み合わせ が、工芸品とは異なった柔らかさをイス全体に与えています。

This chair is an approach to neo-japanese modernismusing a traditional weaving method. The shadows cast by the woven seat and fabric covering the sides produce a soft touch, differing from that of ordinary craft work.
