On July 1st, 2021, the first food store in the Leif.designpark, "Gakudai Omusubi Marumusu" was opened inside the grounds of the Kokashita Gakudai Market, in front of the Gakugei Daigaku Station.
Its theme is that of a station-front rice ball shop making use of its location to serve tea in the evening, based on the concept of "rice balls as a happy reward," that serves rice balls as rewards for small daily efforts, all while being particular about the ingredients it uses and their origin.
We took the decision to create this location as a place for experimental proposals with "after-corona" in mind, as a place to create touch points with new people.
As a concrete attempt, we will start selecting a property, creating the concept, forming the team, and refining the design concept all while developing business formats including food selection, procurement, negotiations, menu development, as well as everything from the location's interior to its graphics, packaging, SNS strategy, etc., all of which is summarized in the team's leaflet.
We want to plan this location in such a way that it becomes a place for new proposals, with enjoyable collaborations between PR people and artists. We look forward to hearing interesting proposals!
